FACULTY RECEIVE EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARDS

Faculty Receive Excellence in Teaching Awards

Cedarville, Ohio—Six professors from Cedarville University recently received Excellence in Teaching awards from the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE). This award recognizes professors for outstanding classroom performance, innovative pedagogy, and relationships with students. The professors were nominated by the Provost's Office, the Department Chairs, and the Center for Teaching and Learning.

Dr. Eddie Baumann, a faculty member since 1993, serves as professor of education.

Mr. Jeffrey Guernsey, a faculty member since 2003, serves as assistant professor of finance.

Mrs. Sandra Harner, a faculty member since 1981, serves as professor of technical communication.

Mr. Mark Klimek, a faculty member since 1983, serves as associate professor of nursing.

Mr. James L. Kragel, a faculty member since 1994, serves as associate professor of communication arts.

Mr. Patrick Oliver, a faculty member since 2005, serves as assistant professor of criminal justice.
