Cedarville, Ohio—For most college students, accolades and awards come only after four years of dedication and scholarship. For Anna Reisenweaver, a freshman at Cedarville University, the story is a bit different.
Reisenweaver recently won the Central Ohio Flute Association Collegiate Division Competition, beating out finalists from Oberlin College and Wright State University. The competition was held on April 4 at The Ohio State University. This is the third competition this spring that Reisenweaver has won.
Beth Cram Porter, the chair of the department of music, art, and worship, says, “The future looks very bright for this young musician.”
