Cedarville, Ohio—Evangelical Christians have valued musical worship, but with anything you do frequently, it can become a complacent practice. A nationally recognized worship leader, David M. Edwards, will visit Cedarville University on April 4 to bring a fresh view of worship to you and your congregation.

Edwards will present a seminar titled Worship365. “The purpose of this seminar,” says Edwards, “is to evaluate worship within the contemporary church of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

This event has been presented other places around the country in conference settings, and the university is offering this one-day seminar free to you and your church. The seminar targets worship leaders, but your worship team, choir or other interested lay-people are encouraged to attend.

Driven by a passion to see people enter into the presence of God, Edwards’ lifetime of experiences has shaped him into the teacher, writer, pastor and worshiper he is today.

His critically acclaimed 2006 book, “Worship 365: The Power of a Worshiping Life,” developed out of Edward’s desire for people to not only be ministered to, but to perfect their craft and calling.

In 2005, he was awarded Worship Leader Magazine’s “Best Scripture Song” Praise Award for “Create In Me,” and in 2007 he received a Worship Leader Magazine’s Praise Award for his song, “Holy Rain.” Edwards has been a recipient of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publisher’s Popular Award Panel’s recognition for nine years in a row. In 2003, he began his Worship 365: Power to Worship Encounters — a seminar where attendees not only learn about the “nuts and bolts” of worship, but experience God’s presence as well.
