GRAD ATTENDING HARVARD LAW SCHOOL
February 11, 2010
While at Cedarville, Emmett Robinson '07 double-majored in political science and music performance. He then applied to several law schools and chose to attend The Ohio State University, where he was a Moritz Scholar and received full tuition plus a stipend. After his first year there, he was ranked number one in his class. He was then accepted into Harvard Law School and is now beginning his second year of legal studies.
While his accomplishments are many and the degree he will earn is prestigious, what is most impressive about Emmett is his character. While at Cedarville, he was a humble and gracious student who respected the faculty and his peers. He lived his life in a fashion that pointed toward Christ, not his own considerable talents. He recently wrote, "While I'm thankful to be going to such an excellent law school, studying at Harvard has made me appreciate even more the friends I made at Cedarville. It has also made me more aware of how privileged believers are to have purpose for our lives far greater than academic success or worldly accomplishments." The department of history and government is anxious to see what the Lord has in store for Emmett.
