Aaron Welty '05, a public administration graduate, lives and works in Washington, D.C. Following graduation in May 2005, he worked briefly for The Heritage Foundation — a conservative think tank promoting public policy research and analysis based on free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and strong national defense. He now works as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill to Representative Thaddeus McCotter, who serves Aaron’s home district in Michigan.

Recently, Kelly O'Donnell from NBC featured Aaron and his custom FENX (pronounced like Phoenix), his futuristic mobility scooter designed and built by his father.
