ALUMNI SPEAK AT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Cedarville University will host hundreds of high school students at its annual high school Leadership Conference on January 21-22, 2011. Each year, conference speakers challenge high school students to be leaders with character and integrity. This year’s conference, titled “Leadership: Heart, Mind, and Strength,” focuses on character and the long-lasting impact we have on others.
Mark Irving '94 and David Wenzel '03 serve as this year’s speakers.
Mark serves as the director of discipleship ministries at Cedarville University where he daily gets to make eternal investments into the lives of college students. As the happy husband of his wife, Meredith, and proud father of three daughters, he considers himself the "minority in the sorority." Mark speaks regularly to student groups on campus, in chapel, and at youth conferences.
David is the Content Development Partner at Dot&Cross, a creative integrated media company working with talented communicators such as Rob Bell, Francis Chan, Donald Miller, Tim Keller, Marcus Buckingham, Josh Shipp, and Matthew Sleeth. In addition, David also works with organizations such as ONE.org, Flannel, World Vision and Compassion International. He is responsible to lead the creative process by discovering new ways to communicate meaningful content through mediums including short and feature film projects, TV shows, educational curriculum, live events, publishing and online content. David lives with his wife Amy and two cats in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
