Rigorous academic programming backed by quality faculty, staff and students has lead to another top-tier ranking for Cedarville University.
This year the editors of "U.S. News" ranked the University among the top 5 regional colleges in the Midwest. The annual rankings are to appear in the magazine’s August 31 issue. The rankings will also be available at www.usnews.com.
"U.S. News" used peer assessment along with objective factors including student academic quality, graduation rate, class size, student/faculty ratio and alumni financial support to determine the rankings. A more detailed description of the factors is available at www.usnews.com.

Cedarville University was ranked fifth in the Midwest and finished at or near the top of the region in several areas. For example, the University’s 70 percent graduation rate was second highest in the Midwest. And Cedarville was also second in the Midwest with a freshman retention rate of 84 percent.
The University was also recently named "A Best in the Midwest" college by the "Princeton Review" on its website feature: "2011 Best Colleges: Region by Region" (www.princetonreview.com).
