Cedarville Composer Serves as Guest With El Paso Symphony

Austin Jaquith, D.M.A., recently traveled to El Paso, Texas to be a guest artist with the El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestras (EPSYOs). In addition to the premiere of his composition, Kinesis, which was commissioned by EPSYOs, he also presented a composition and film-scoring workshop for middle school and high school students. Also, Austin’s composition, Quintet for Brass, was performed at a number of venues by the Mirari Brass Quintet as the group toured throughout the Southwest in November 2010.
