After landing a prestigious nursing residency, Rachel Latario ’10 thanks her faculty for making it possible.
To Cedarville’s exceptional nursing professors:
I just accepted a position in St. Joseph Hospital’s new graduate nurse residency program. This program (and hospital) is renowned for its highly competitive and exceptional program. Anywhere from 75 to 100 nurses apply for 10 positions every year.
St. Joseph proclaims Christ as Lord, taking a firm stand in providing compassionate spiritual care. Their focus is holistic medical care, and they never turn away patients who cannot pay. And God is blessing them financially for their faithfulness!
I know that I was chosen for the program due to the excellent preparation I received at Cedarville. The interviewers were astonished at the incredible and versatile clinical experiences I encountered in Cedarville’s nursing program.
I will do my best to represent our Lord and Cedarville in a positive way. Put St. Joseph on your list of places amazed by Cedarville students! Encourage the juniors that Cedarville has an incredible name across the country!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE!
St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire, has been recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Magnet Hospital, a formal recognition of nursing excellence. Rachel’s nurse residency program includes 10–12 weeks of clinical rotations through medical surgical, rehabilitation, oncology, and geropsychiatric units.
