Cedarville University invites you to attend Encounter featuring Aaron Keyes on April 16.
Cedarville is proud to present Keyes, a nationally-known singer, songwriter and worship leader, along with his band. Keyes’ hit song, “Psalm 62,” has received national attention and has been featured in Cedarville University chapel services. Keyes was inspired by the truth and hope he found in the biblical passage and the poetical structure of the verses. The song epitomizes Keyes’ belief that Scripture should be central to worship.
He serves as worship pastor for Grace Fellowship Church near Atlanta, GA. His vision is to transform a generation of musicians who simply lead songs to a generation of biblically-empowered musicians who lead people. Keyes invites younger worship pastors to live in his home and participate in an intensive discipleship course. He, also, travels with his band to lead worship and coach international worship leaders.
Encounter started as a student-led service where students could gather to worship. Musicians have the opportunity to lead and bless others with their gifts while students communally worship God.
Encounter will take place on April 16 from 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. in the Jeremiah Chapel in the Dixon Ministry Center. The event is free and open to the public.
