Rev. Franklin Graham to Speak at Commencement

On Saturday, May 5 more than 600 students will walk across the stage to receive their diplomas at Cedarville University’s 116th commencement ceremony. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in the Doden Field House where Rev. Franklin Graham, President and CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, will deliver the commencement address.

Graham has devoted his life to meeting the needs of people around the world and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the eldest son of Billy and Ruth Bell Graham. Under his leadership, Samaritan's Purse has met the needs of poor, sick and suffering people in more than 100 countries. As an evangelist for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Graham has led crusades around the world.

Cedarville University and Samaritan’s Purse have maintained a strong connection over the years as students, faculty, staff and alumni have given thousands of hours and dollars to the worldwide relief work of Samaritan’s Purse.
