Do you enjoy learning about music in a hands-on environment? If so, Cedarville University’s Music Camp is just right for you! All high school students and incoming Cedarville freshman are invited to attend. The camp offers master classes and one-on-one instruction for brass, piano, strings, voice and woodwind instruments.

The camp will run June 4-8 and will challenge students to achieve their personal best. Master classes and private lessons will give students a good impression of what it’s like to study music at a collegiate level. Classes will be held in the recital halls located in the Dixon Ministry Center.

The arts will be portrayed in relation to worship and your walk with Christ. Students should show up ready to learn and with an open heart to the Lord. Music camp is also a great place to dig deeper in your relationship with Christ while creating new friendships.

The registration fee covers meals, housing, field trips, activities, supplies and a camp shirt. Aside from classes, students will also be taking many field trips. They will enjoy homemade ice cream from Young’s Dairy and a relaxing canoe trip. Students will also be attending a theatre production of Wicked at the Schuster Performing Arts Center in Dayton. Each day will end with students partaking in “dorm devotions.” Before departure on Friday, the students will perform for family and friends.

Check in for camp will be between 3-5 p.m. on Monday and camp will end at 2 p.m. on Friday. The final day for registration is May 29. Cedarville will provide students with shuttle service from the Dayton and Columbus airports on Monday and Friday. Cost of roundtrip shuttle service to and from Dayton is $45 and a roundtrip to and from Columbus is $80. All students requesting this service should contact Cedarville University Event Services before May 29.
