Cedarville University will host its fourth annual Worship 4:24 Conference on Jan. 25 and 26, featuring NewLife Worship. The 10 a.m. chapel service and 7 p.m. concert in the Dixon Ministry Center Jeremiah Chapel on Friday are open to the public.

NewLifeWorship is a ministry of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, made up of musicians who have written such songs as "Amazed," "My Savior Lives," "Overcome" and "Great I Am."

Associate professor of music Roger O’Neel said the conference is designed for worship teams to attend together. Workshops will provide training for leaders, musicians, singers, and sound crews.

O’Neel said the conference also gives Cedarville worship students the opportunity to interact with leading professionals. “It’s a win-win-win for us as we serve our students, guest artists and the churches that attend,” he said.

Guests must register to attend seminars. Before Jan. 7, registration costs $30 per person ($20 per student). After that date, guests can register until Jan.16 for $49.95 per person ($30 per student).

The conference is co-sponsored by the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and Cedarville University Department of Music and Worship. Breakout speakers include Mike Harland, Brad Parsley, Craig Adams, Jeremy Johnson, Phillip Keveren, Paul Marino, Shelly E. Johnson, Kirk Kirkland, Jonathan Nicholas, and Mel Tunney.
