The night of April 26, Cedarville students will flood into the Jeremiah Chapel for Elliv, the biggest student life event of the year.

According to the Elliv executive director Ellen Schmehl, a senior from Elizabethtown, P.A., “Elliv is a student run, student planned, mock awards show that celebrates campus culture, campus life and student talent.”

Elliv is a unique opportunity for a variety of students to use their talents to plan, run and perform in the show. Students orchestrate every aspect of Elliv including the marketing, interior design, accounting, costumes, music and dancing.

Elliv talent coordinator, Hannah Yelinek, a senior from Haymarket, V.A., shared, “Putting on a professional-level show is empowering for everyone involved.” More than 170 students are contributing their time and talents to this year’s show.

Elliv is a celebration of student life at Cedarville. Highlighting the hidden talent of students across campus, the show includes a surprise set list and cast. Yelinek shared, “It’s a night of outstanding talent, high energy and memories.”

The theme of Cedarville’s 14th annual Elliv is “Incognito.” Students should come decked out in creative costumes and expect to be entertained by each amazing act and a few surprises along the way.

According to Schmehl, “It’s going to be a phenomenal show. We’re taking it to the next level this year.”
