Former Federal Speechwriter to Speak on Campus

Cedarville University is pleased to welcome Rob Schwarzwalder to campus, the former chief of staff for two members of Congress and a writer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Schwarzwalder also worked as a press secretary for the U.S. House and Senate. 

He will speak at two different venues while at Cedarville, including chapel on Thursday, February 27, and a session at 7 p.m. the same day in the Dixon Ministry Center Recital Hall.

Currently, Schwarzwalder is the senior vice president for the Family Research Council, managing the critical programs of church ministries, communications, and policy. He graduated from Biola University and holds an M.A. in theology from Western Seminary in Portland, OR. Additionally, he has completed graduate work at the University of Washington and George Washington University.

Schwarzwalder is married with three children and lives in northern Virginia, where he enjoys spending time with relatives and friends. Rob and his wife, Valerie, are actively participating members of Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia.
