Jason Malone, mission/vision leader and teaching leader for Summit Church in Greenville, S.C., will speak at Cedarville University’s 2013 Fall Bible Conference August 19-22.
Malone is a 1998 alumnus of Cedarville and holds a B.A. in Christian education. After spending his first nine years of ministry at Southside Fellowship in Greenville, S.C., Malone planted Summit Church in nearby Mauldin in September 2007. The church expanded to its Cherrydale, S.C., location in 2010, and most recently launched a campus in Spartanburg, S.C., in 2012.
Malone’s passion for church planting is driven by his desire to give every man, woman and child in upstate South Carolina the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Malone resides in Simpsonville, S.C., with his wife, Jen, and two children, Caroline and Cate.
Thomas White, Ph.D., president of Cedarville University, will open the conference at 10 a.m. on August 19. Malone will then be the keynote speaker at the 7 p.m. service the same day. He will also speak Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and will close the conference on Thursday, August 22, at 10 a.m. All sessions will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center at Cedarville University. The event is free and open to the public.
