The Christian's Responsibility in Health Care

Gianna Jessen

Gianna Jessen has what she refers to as the "gift" of Cerebral Palsy. Gianna's biological mother was 17 when she had a saline abortion in her third trimester, but Gianna survived. Her medical records state, "born during saline abortion"...this is what caused her Cerebral Palsy. Her life has been covered by many major news media outlets, reaching many people with a message of hope and conviction. She develops position papers on the many ethical issues in bioethics that Joni and Friends seek to promote and influence. She specializes in ethical issues in genetic enhancement research.
