Directions for How to Manage Your Appointments
To Create An Appointment
Click on the
sign up
link on the Writing Center homepage; the CedarInfo page will pop up. Log in using your CedarInfo password.
If you've never signed up for an appointment before, be sure to register first, following the link to do so. If you've already registered, skip to #4.
Once you've registered, you can access the online schedule (and if you've registered previously, it will automatically appear).
On the schedule, click on the box that corresponds to the date and time you wish to meet with a consultant. Be sure you're clearly distinguishing what time you're choosing (e.g., 3:00 or 3:30). Keep in mind the writing center's appointment
policies
regarding how often you sign up for appointments.
An appointment form will pop up. You must fill this out completely, including professor and course names.
Note that all course names come directly from the course schedule and aren't listed by the nicknames students use for them.
Click on "Save." (If you don't do this, you won't have an appointment!)
You've done it! You will automatically receive an email reminding you of your appointment later on.
To Delete or Change An Appointment
After logging on to the system from our website (see #1-#3 above), click on your appointment on the online schedule. (It will be colored blue.)
Your appointment form will pop up. Scroll down to the bottom of that form.
Click on the "Delete" box. Then click on "Save." Again, be sure to save this!
You now can make a new appointment at a different time. (See the steps above.)
