If you are a nonresidential student, you may now access the writing center's tutoring services through Skype.

Be sure your computer has a webcam and microphone. Most laptop computers have these built in, but not all desktop computers do. Download Skype and set up an account. Once Skype is up and running, add "CUWritingCenter" as a contact. You can search the Skype directory to find us.

You can then access tutoring via Skype by making a 30-minute appointment between 7–9 p.m., Monday through Thursday. You can learn how to create or change an appointment on our online schedule here.

Because of staff and resource limitations, we cannot offer Skype tutoring to current students who live on campus. We cannot make any exceptions. If you live on campus, please make your appointments during our regular hours and plan to come to Tyler 104 to meet with your tutor.
