The ALTernative (known as the ALT) is an event put on by SCAB that provides students with an ALTernative to going off campus and spending money. ALT nights feature several community-building events (prerelease movie, laser tag, nerf battle, Just Dance, and so much more) that bring the student body together.

At every ALT night, the Love God – Love Others program encourages and challenges students to get involved and volunteer at a local church or ministry. The Love God – Love Others program is a partnership of SCAB and Community Ministries.
