Information for Continuing Students (Fall 2011)

As you prepare to return to campus in August, we’ve compiled some resources with important dates and information related to fall semester. If you have questions or need more information, contact the residence life office at 937-766-7872.

Housing and roommate information »

Residence hall students can view your housing assignment and roommate information on CedarInfo.

When to arrive on campus »

Continuing students should plan to arrive on Saturday, August 20 or Sunday, August 21.

  • Residence hall students should pick up their room key in the DMC on Saturday, August 20 (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) or Sunday, August 21 (2–4 p.m. and 8–9 p.m.).
  • The first contract meal is dinner on Saturday, August 20, 4–6 p.m.
  • All students are required to attend the Fall Bible Conference, which includes morning (10 a.m.) and evening (7 p.m.) services on Monday, August 22–Thursday, August 25.
  • Classes begin on Wednesday, August 24.

We provide transportation to and from Dayton International Airport. To schedule your transportation, fill out the necessary transportation forms.

Student health insurance information »

All undergraduate students taking six or more credit hours per semester receive student health insurance as a benefit included in tuition. Review some frequently asked questions about your plan.

Changes to medical billing in UMS »

UMS now accepts private health insurance. Read new information about the costs for services and billing procedures to a private health insurance plan.

Student handbook and community covenant »

Our student handbook, The Cedarville Experience, is available online. Review the community covenant and be thinking about ways our campus community can work together to help each other become more like Christ.

Services for commuter students »

This year more than 500 students will commute to campus. This includes married students, non-traditional students, students who live close enough to campus to commute from home, and approximately 300 students who have permission to move off campus. We provide a variety of services and programs to help off-campus students take full advantage of the Cedarville experience. Watch your e-mail for more information.

Vehicles on campus »

There are no restrictions on vehicle registration. All vehicles parked on campus must be registered through campus safety.
