Theatre Program

Statement of Purpose

The theatre major at Cedarville University is offered through the Department of Communication Arts. It is a comprehensive program providing training in stage performance, technical theatre, design, theatre history, dramaturgy, theatre education, and religious drama. Three annual main stage productions along with student productions complement course work. Faculty guidance is provided for securing theatre internships, theatre employment, and graduate study. It is our desire to prepare students for graduate schools, educational programs, professional theatre, and public media who will excel in their art as they honor God with their lives.
