Faculty Development

The success of any university directly relates to the quality of its faculty, so investing in faculty professional development is crucial. At the Center for Teaching & Learning, we take this responsibility very seriously because we are the focal point for faculty development on Cedarville University's campus. The Center plays a critical role in the development of faculty as reflective teachers by providing compelling faculty sessions on a variety of topics.

TeachWell Sessions

The TeachWell faculty development sessions provide an opportunity to participate in several professional tracks to help you continue to grow in your working knowledge of effective pedagogy and the use of educational tools. The tracks will include seminars, workshops, and specialized training with experts in each particular field.

Developing Faculty as Online Facilitators

In the Fall of 2006, Cedarville University received a small OLN grant to start a Faculty Learning Community dedicated to the excellence of Online Education. The Center for Teaching and Learning has been integrally involved in supporting and facilitating the initiative. See the Developing Faculty as Online Facilitators website for more information.
