2009 Scholarship of Teaching & Learning Conference

November 12, 2009

The annual Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference is a professional development opportunity created especially for faculty members to build your expertise as teaching professionals.

This year’s conference focuses on maintaining a healthy balance in a demanding profession in which it is all too easy to become over-extended. Join Lisa McMinn as she speaks from her book, The Contented Soul. The conference includes a keynote address from Dr. McMinn, time for Q&A, and a hands-on workshop guided by Dr. McMinn.

Lisa Graham McMinn (Ph.D., Portland State University) is professor of sociology in the department of sociology and social work at George Fox University in Oregon. Her books include Growing Strong Daughters (Baker), Sexuality and Holy Longing (Jossey-Bass) and The Contented Soul (InterVarsity Press).
