Welcome to the Equilibrium Online Learning Module!

This site contains three chapter modules where students may access the following:

  • important chapter summaries
  • helpful tips from the tutor
  • frequently asked questions
  • practice problems that help students practice for the exam
  • links to an online algebra resource called Purplemath
  • video demonstrations of how to solve certain equilibrium problems
  • media that explains key concepts for understanding equilibrium better

Are you a student who understands the equilibrium concept in Chapter 16 but has difficulty solving the equilibrium word problems mathematically?

Are you are a student who knows “the math” but has a hard time grasping the concept of acid base reactions in Chapter 17?

The goal of this online learning module is to help students understand equilibrium better. As such, many of the tools provided here are in response to the problematic areas that have surfaced in student's work from previous years. This online module gives you the option of reviewing, reading, and practicing equilibrium problems to help you learn more and demonstrate content mastery on the exams.

So what can you do? You can watch Video Demos, refer to an online Math Aid, work through Practice problems, compare your answers with those provided, and see the correct step-by-step solutions for each. You can read through helpful tips developed by a tutor, refer to frequently asked questions, and email the tutor if you need more help. Actually, using this site is simple. To the left are links. In your book they are chapters but here they are three separate learning modules developed individually for your benefit.
