My Calling
"You would make an excellent professor at Cedarville." These words were penned to me by one of my professors over 20 years ago and a seed was planted.
My long-time aspiration to teach full-time at the college level and God’s individual plan for my life intersected this past year in a profoundly clear way. I have enjoyed teaching through the years via many opportunities at work and church. However, the door to full-time teaching clearly opened and my wife and I became sure that the time was right for me to make this transition from the business world. I consider it an added privilege to be able to teach at Cedarville University, an institution for which I have had such a high regard since my days here many years ago as a student.
I have a strong desire to use the knowledge, skills and experiences God has given me to help educate and inspire students. My education at Cedarville truly helped shape and prepare me for life and I desire the same for today’s students. The disciplines of the field of Business Administration play a key role in businesses, nonprofit organizations, and ministries around the world. Teaching business students at Cedarville will enable me to help "multiply" as these students go forward from here around the world to do great things for God and "make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:20).
