Milner 104: A Collaborative Learning Center
Milner 104 was designed to be flexible in its seating arrangements. It was transformed from a single table that seats 30 into five separate computer work stations that will accommodate six students per team at each computer.
The IBC program uses the room as a "war room" — companies hold their meetings, keep their inventory, and complete all of their work. Student teams from across the DBA program find the room useful for meetings and collaborative work. The Production Operation students use the room for working on their flowcharting. The Marketing Research class uses the room to do calling for research projects. The room allows students to get loud and creative without disturbing anyone else in a traditional computer lab or in the library.
