SHINTOISM
¤ Shintoism is a very old religion in Japan.
¤ Shintoism is the traditional religion of Japan and since Japanese culture is very traditional, many people follow this religion.

CHRISTIANITY
¤ Christianity is not looked on highly by Japanese people.
¤ Many Christians in Japan are disowned by their families because of their religion.
¤ There are missionaries in working in Japan to bring the Gospel to the people but the mission field is hard.
¤ Missionaries have a hard time because the language is hard and because tradition
is so important to the people.
