Geography
The country of Mexico is in the shape of a funnel.
It is large at
the top and small at the bottom.

There are two big chains of mountains in Mexico.
One is called the Sierra Madre Occidental.
This means the mountains in the west.
The other is called Sierra Madre Oriental.
This means the mountains of the east.
Can you find these on the map?
Mexico also has
volcanos. 
Here
is a picture of a volcano called El Pico de Orizaba.
Mexico has different kinds of climates. A climate tells you what kind of weather a place has.
For example, the desert would be a hot and dry climate.
There are very high cliffs on the East side of Mexico.
People dive off of these cliffs for fun. They need to dive when the waves come in or else they will hit the rocks.
