Computer Engineering
Major Description
Our department offers an ABET-accredited program leading to the B.S.Cp.E. degree, which will prepare students for any of the many careers in the field of computer engineering or for graduate study.
This major combines aspects of computer science and electrical engineering with a selection of courses in programming languages, microprocessors, computer architecture, mathematics, and engineering. Engineering students have access to the most modern of facilities, which include special electrical, mechanical, and computer-aided design (CAD) laboratories. CedarNet allows students 24-hour access to more than 175 software packages worth more than $25,000. Through coursework, internships, and student design competitions, Cedarville equips students with the training and experience they need to excel in today's high-tech work environment.
