Electrical Engineering
Major Description
Our department offers an ABET-accredited program leading to the B.S.E.E. degree, which will prepare students for a career in the field of electrical engineering or for graduate study. A newly acquired surface-mount soldering station has become the "hot" tool of use for circuit board fabrication for senior design projects. High-speed processors enable students to interface state-of-the-art electronic equipment with Cedarville's award-winning computer network. Students can gain valuable real-world experience by participating in design competitions, internships, and student organizations such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
