Stanley Baczek (Dean)
Dr. Baczek has served as the Dean of the School of Engineering, Nursing and Science now known as the School of Natural and Applied Sciences since July 1, 2003. He is also Professor of Polymer Science and Engineering. Prior to this position, Dr. Baczek served as Associate Professor of Plastics Engineering Technology, Department Chair, and Director of the Plastics Manufacturing Center at various times while at Pennsylvania College of Technology. In the 20 years prior to that, that, Dr. Baczek held various positions in industry. He and his wife of 34 years, Sandy, have been blessed with three children and three grandsons. They are currently attending Southgate Baptist Church in Springfield. His hobbies include reading, photography, golf, and hunting.

Karen Calvert
Karen Calvert began serving as the Dean's Assistant for the School of Engineering, Nursing and Science, now known as the School of Natural and Applied Sciences, in 2003. She has also worked with the Social Work Program and the Department of Lanuage and Literature as the administrative assistant. She has been with CU since June, 1997. She and her husband Jim live in Xenia and attend Patterson Park Church in Beavercreek. They have two grown children, Ethan and Kristen, and four adorable grandchildren.
