Steven Winteregg (Dean)
Dr. Winteregg, who earned his D.M.A. degree from The Ohio State University in 1987, serves as chair of the department and professor of composition. Dr. Winteregg is an award-winning composer and has had many of his compositions performed around the world. He has also served as Principal Tuba in the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. He joined the Cedarville University faculty in 2004.
Shelly Nutter
Shelly Nutter began as the dean's assistant for the School of Humanities in September 2007. She was the administrative assistant for the Science and Math department the 7 years prior to her current position. She has been at Cedarville since 2000. Shelly has a bachelor's of science degree in elementary education from Eastern Michigan University and she currently holds a valid Ohio Teaching License. Shelly and her husband Gary, who have been married since 1977, have a son and two daughters. Their son, Brandon, graduated from Cedarville in 2003 and he and his wife, Bethany, are missionary candidates with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Their oldest daughter, Lindsay, graduated from Liberty University in 2007 and their youngest daughter, Lauren,is a student at Liberty University. They have one grandson, Andrew Nutter.
Shelly enjoys traveling, hanging out with family, watching her daughter cheer at Liberty games, and spending time with her grandson.
