Database Trials

OhioLINK is currently comparing two databases to determine the best purchase for our users.  Cedarville University students, staff and faculty are encouraged to join the librarians in evaluating these databases.  We welcome your comments about these resources via email.  These trials will be available until November 18, 2009. 

Scopus

Scopus is a database of international research literature and quality web sources, covering scientific, technical, medical and social sciences literature including arts and humanities.  The database includes over 38 million records, most going back to 1996 and some as far back as 1823..

ISI Web of Knowledge

In addition to our usual ISI Web of Science content, other ISI resources are available:  BIOSIS Previews®, Derwent Innovations Index, Journal Citation Reports® on the Web, Web of Science:  Conference Proceedings Citation Index™, Science Citation Index Expanded (1965-present),  Social Sciences Citation Index (1965-present), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index® (1965-present).
