Church Music Ministries Overview

Church Music MinistriesThe church music ministries program at Cedarville University is primarily designed to help you prepare for a career leading worship. The demand for worship leaders is very high, and upon graduation, Cedarville students are prepared to do ministry in the local church. However, some graduates choose to continue their musical or theological education at seminary.

Others are in our church music program as double-majors or minors who desire to serve the church in a local church as a layperson, who are planning to attend seminary to study to be a pastor, or who have a desire to serve Christ on the mission field using music as a ministry tool.Prospective students and their parents are encouraged to look online to envision positions and locations that would interest you as you consider a career in church music. There is a great demand for worship leaders who are excellent musically and who have a pastor's heart. Both our music faculty and career services office stand ready to help you as you look for a ministry position.
