Experience

My teaching experience started when I was a graduate student. I taught a wide range of psychology courses including Laboratory of Physiological Psychology, Neuroscience, Statistics, Research Methods, Social, Personality, Childhood Disabilities and General Psychology.

My research experience is in cellular and molecular biochemistry where I assess the quantity and distribution of various molecules in various parts of the brain. I also have significant experience with behavioral animal research. The latter involves testing animals’ behaviors such as memory or anxiety using mazes or other instruments. Throughout the years, I did some research with human subjects involving memory and depression testing. My most memorable research project was carried out by my college students whom I took to Ukraine to work with orphans. We tested the depression level of these orphans before and after implementing a new type of therapy. I would love to do this type of research with Cedarville students in the context of a short-term mission trip again in the near future.
