Professional Background
Prior to coming to Cedarville, I spent ten years full-time teaching at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA. While there, I was an Associate Professor of Psychology and served as Director of Graduate Studies. In addition, I was also a part-time member of the Office for Student Development where I served as the Director of Counseling Services. At BBC I initiated B.S. in Pre-counseling and M.S. in Counseling degrees which enrolled over 80 students.
I came to Cedarville University in 1998 as an Associate Professor of Psychology. In Fall 2001, I was appointed as the Chair for the Department of Psychology at Cedarville. Although this involves some classroom teaching reduction, I still carry a half-time instructional responsibility, so I am still very active with students in the classroom.
