Renal Tissue (High Power)
NOTES:
This is a high-power view of renal tissue. Shown here is a single kidney glomerulus, surrounded by its capsule (Bowman's Capsule). Note the simple squamous epithelium which lines the inside of the capsule (arrow). Where they cover the glomerulus, these epithelial cells are modified to form specialized cells called podocytes.
