
Meet Our Personnel
Pamela Diehl Johnson (Dean)
Dr. Johnson serves as Senior Professor of Exercise and Sport Science, associate women's tennis coach, and Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Human Performance. She earned her B.S. from the University of Dayton (1970) and her M.A. (1971) and Ph.D. (1974) from The Ohio State University. She has been at Cedarville since 1974. Dr. Johnson is chair of the NAIA Women's Tennis National Tournament Committee. She co-authored the book Physical Fitness and the Christian, which is in its fourth edition. She is actively involved in her church as the director of the Sparks program, participates in the Fellowship Committee, and assists with the ministry for children with special needs. Dr. Johnson and her husband, Cliff, enjoy tennis, hiking, and traveling.
Nancy Ranger
Nancy Ranger began serving as the Dean's Assistant for the School of Social Sciences and Human Performance in 2000. She has also worked in the Cashiers and Registrar's Offices and as Administrative Assistant for the Athletic Department. She has been with CU since April 1988.
Nancy enjoys reading, music, spending time with family and friends, and is an avid Michigan football fan. Of course she also enjoys cheering on the CU Yellow Jackets. Nancy is single and resides in Cedarville.
