Rec Center Entrance Policies

  1. All Rec Center users must report to the middle of the control desk and present proper ID.
    1. Current students, faculty and staff members should present their current CU ID card. Spouses and children of Fac/Staff members living at home who have not yet graduated from high school must present their current Family ID card (obtained from the Campus Safety Office).
    2. Guests of students, faculty or staff members must check in with the University Family member and remain with them during their visit.
    3. Everyone else must present or purchase a valid Rec Center pass for entrance.
  2. Membership Categories
    1. Category A
      1. University Family: current students, faculty and staff members.
    2. Category B (temporary)
      1. CU Family Pass: spouse and children of students or fac/staff members living at home who have not yet graduated from high school (obtained from the Campus Safety Office).
      2. VIP passes: generally given to higher level donors and friends of the President.
      3. Prospective students
      4. Guests of a current student, faculty or staff member
      5. Courtesy card given out by the director only
    3. Category C
      1. Pioneer staff
      2. Retired faculty and staff members (10 years of service or more)
      3. Current student family (parents and siblings living at home)
    4. Category D Time limitations during school year Monday-Friday
      1. Alumni (defined as graduates of the University)
      2. Cedarville Firefighters
      3. Seniors (62 years old and older)
    5. Category E Time limitations during school year Monday-Friday
      1. Field house only - access to the field house only
    6. Category F Time limitations during school year Monday-Friday
      1. Alumni Family - Alumni spouse and children living at home under the age of 18.
      2. Former Student - anyone who has taken classes at CU but did not graduate from CU.
      3. Former Student Family - The former student?s spouse and children living at home under the age of 18.
      4. Former Faculty or Staff member - someone who has worked at CU in the past, but for less than ten years.
    7. Category G (Non-Affiliate) Time limitations during school year Monday-Friday
      1. Community - community members and those who do not fit one of the categories above who are at least 18 years of age.

  4. Waiver Form: Everyone except current University students, faculty and staff members must complete a waiver form before membership can be issued. A parent must sign a waiver form for any minor entering and using our facilities.
