Group Exercise Class Descriptions
Body Sculpt
Body sculpting is a lower intensity workout that aims to work the entire body with specific emphasis on the core. The class relies on low weight and high reps to attain a more toned, healthier body.
Ball and Step: Total Body Workout
With the use of upbeat music, this class will combine the use of stability balls and steps to work out every part of the body, particularly the abs, legs, gluts, and arms.
BOSU:
This uniquely designed class will help you strengthen your core muscles, legs and upper body. Also, you will increase your stability and balance.
Fitness Fusion
This class is a two-part workout designed to burn optimum calories, build muscle, and strengthen the core!
1) Power Sculpt: A heart-pumping combination of aerobic and strength training intervals designed to burn calories and tone muscle to fun and upbeat tunes (30 minutes)!
2) On the Ball: A lower intesity stability ball workout designed to stregthen the core using a blend of Yoga and Pilates-influenced exercises that will leave you feeling both challenge and refreshed (30 minutes).
Limit of 25 people per class.
Ballet Class Descriptions
Ballet--Beginning Level
This class is designed to teach students the basic steps and combinations associated with ballet. There will be a focus on body placement, flexibility, coordination and core strength. Simple choreography will also be incorporated to demonstrate the purpose of technique and develop skills associated with choreography. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!!
Ballet--Intermediate to Advanced Level
This class is designed for students who have both a moderate understanding and training of ballet and have taken ballet for a minimum of 2 years past the age of 10. The class will focus on simple to moderate combinations using basic steps, body placement, music rhythm, flexibility, and include the introduction of new steps to increase their repertoire of steps/combinations.
Martial Arts Class Descriptions
Tae Kwon Do - Instructor Karl Eiker
Students will learn basic Tae Kwon Do, as well as, learn practical ways to defend themselves from the ground and standing positions. Beginners through experienced students will benefit.
Mixed Martial Arts - Instructor Karl Eiker
This class will focus on conditioning as well as boxing, kick-boxing, and grappling training. The purpose of this class will be to train students to defend themselves in real life fighting situations. Beginners welcome.
