Group Exercise Class Descriptions

A. Fitness Classes:

Step Up

This step class will give you a good lower body and cardio workout. It will start with 30 minutes of cardio, then some weight lifting and floor work to strengthen and tone the rest of the body.

Beautifully Buff

Bored with the Nautilus circuit? This class is a great way to spice up your strength training routine. We will alternate using the step bench, BOSU, and physioball, as well as hand weights and bands to keep it fun and challenging. Quick cardio intervals throughout the class will keep your heart rate up and help burn more calories! Modifications will be demonstrated for different exercises to personalize the workout for your fitness level. This toning class will hit all major muscle groups to help make you beautifully (or handsomely) buff.

Core Strength

A dynamic and innovative approach to sculpting your core, abs, and obliques. Using BOSU balance trainers and free weights, discover new ways to improve core strength and ab definition. Led by Emily Shade, Senior Exercise Science major

Spin Class

Spin class is a cardio-pumping indoor cycling class that provides a great workout while having fun. This class is great for beginners through advanced. This class will start November 9 and go through December 3.
