Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice program offers a broad, biblically-integrated education in law, criminal justice, political science, sociology, psychology, ethics, and public sector administration. It prepares students for careers in several fields including juvenile and adult services; prison, probation, parole, and community supervision service; as well as law enforcement at all levels of government.
Social Work (B.S.)
The Social Work major prepares students for future ministries/careers in professional social work, professional church and church-related specializations, and informal assistance. Students in the Social Work Program apply their classroom knowledge of Social Work theory, methods, and principles to actual situations of human need in two separate field internships. The wide range of opportunities within the social work field provides graduates with numerous ways of investing in the lives of individuals, families, groups, and communities.
Sociology
The Sociology program examines the social interaction of individuals in groups, organizations, and institutions while offering excellent preparation for graduate school and equipping students to understand their role as Christians, church and family members, citizens, employees, and students. Particular attention is given to the cultural environment in which people live.
