Karisa Linafelter has been on staff at Cedarville University since June 1998. Her job as the associate registrar for academic progress and transfer Services has many facets to it, but she would be quick to note that working with transfer students is her first love. She notes, "Every transfer student has a unique story of how God led them to Cedarville. I love hearing these stories and getting to know each student on an individual basis."

Karisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in human resource management from Cedarville in 1998. In June 2005, she received her M.Ed. in student affairs administration through Wright State University.

"Most students I work with say that despite the initial stress and uneasiness transferring caused, it was one of the best choices they made. They discovered that Cedarville could better equip them for what their ultimate goals were, so they took the leap and were glad they did it."
