Playing in the Symphonic band helps me keep up my clarinet playing and gives me a recreational outlet?something that is totally unrelated to my major. Music may not be my primary vocation, but I have been able to develop and maintain skills that I will use the rest of my life. The music lounge is a great place for social interaction, and the friendships I have made through my involvement in music have been priceless. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

Being a music major here at CU has been a life-changing experience. The music faculty have opened my eyes to and exemplified all the stewardship responsibilities that go hand in hand with the life of a musician. From learning to glorify God in the hour that is set aside for practicing, to experiencing all the blessings of ministering to others, being a music major here at Cedarville truly has brought me closer to the Lord.
