"My sophomore year, my parents brought to my attention a need for a Spanish website for the University. After talking to the administration, the project was launched, and now Cedarville has a translated website! It's encouraging to me to see that the University cares so much about the needs of others and didn't disregard my attempts. Instead, they began working almost immediately."

"I've noticed in the four years I've been here that Cedarville has become more popular in engaging students - not just culturally in the United States, but internationally as well."

"Coming to Cedarville from Eastern Europe has allowed me to share another perspective with students who have never left the continental United States. After all, it's kind of hard to hide your ethnicity with a name like 'Asheritah,' and that opens doors to many in-depth conversations. It's cool to be able to explain to others the beauty found in diversity. The Cedarville students I've met are eager to learn about my Romanian culture without labeling me as 'different.' I definitely feel like part of the Cedarville student body, and it's great to be able to contribute something unique."

"I've been class president, played intramural basketball, sung in OneVoice Gospel Choir, and played bass and guitar for the class chapel band and OneVoice. These opportunities have made my Cedarville experience bigger and better. I have grown spititually, learned new skills, and made friends that I would not have made otherwise."

"Cedarville's emphasis on diversity is about making our campus more like God's kingdom, deepening our impact on culture, and enriching every student's educational experience. It's not based on our desire to be politically correct but rather on our passion to become biblically correct followers of Christ."

"The platter on which life serves us its delights is broken, and the sweets are spoiled. Jesus came to mend the broken and exchange the bitter for the sweet. As His ambassadors, we are to say what He says and do what He does. He clearly says that loving our brother is loving God. In our grace-enabled obedience, we 'Taste and see that the Lord is good!' So, let's eat; let's love!"
