Sarah Mays

Biography

I grew up in Xenia (about 15 minutes from Cedarville) and began attending CU in 1997. I took a break from my degree after my junior year to pursue a career opportunity at Express Personnel Services. I was involved in setting up a franchise office in Beavercreek, Ohio. Two years later, I moved to Oklahoma City for a year to work at the Express Corporate office. After my time there, I returned to Ohio and began working at CDR Radio Network while completing my degree in psychology at Cedarville.

During my time here, a co-worker introduced me to her nephew… now my husband! We live in Xenia and are very blessed to both be employed in the field of Christian education. I'm beginning my fifth year at Cedarville and have now joined the Gift Planning team. One of the greatest aspects of my job is the opportunity to work with others who believe in Cedarville's purpose and desire to see it continue for God's glory.

Interests

  • I love baseball! Go Reds! You can find me at "Opening Day" every season.
  • Music is another passion of mine. I come from a musical family and have played the piano since I was a young girl.
  • I am a recent football fan, thanks to my dear husband. We root for the Cleveland Browns all the way!
  • Reading and crossword puzzles (I've become a junkie).
