Greetings Class of 2006!
"We're excited to announce the completion of our class gift! The senior class of 2006 dedicated a memorial to honor current and former Cedarville students serving in the armed forces. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq greatly shaped our time at Cedarville, and we felt it appropriate to pay tribute to the men and women serving our country. The memorial is located on the shores of Cedar Lake outside Centennial Library between the Bible building and ENS. It features five pillars arranged in a half-circle around an American flag. Set in each pillar is the seal from each of the armed forces branches. The pillars and the American flag are lit at night, and two benches sit at the front of the memorial."
