This year's conference, held on the campus of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, focussed on legal issues in bioethics.

The day also included small group discussions on various topics, including: Assisted Procreation and Cloning, Human Stem Cell Treatments, Environmental Stewardship, End-of-Life Decisions, Genetic Intervention, and Animal v. Human rights. There was an afternoon poster session, with posters designed by the participants to highlight the issues discussed.
165 registrants were involved, including 135 students from the two institutions and 24 faculty and health care professionals.
