The Center for Bioethics and Ohio Right to Life join forces
Recent Activities:
Check out these great blogs on bioethics issues: From Center Director Dr. Dennis Sullivan: http://www.cedarethics.org Center Associate Dr. Susan Salladay is a regular columnist for two nursing journals: Nursing 2008 and the Journal of Christian Nursing. Both Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Silvius have had articles recently published in peer-reviewed journals. During fall semester, Center Director Dennis Sullivan has been teaching a 10-week course entitled "Christian Ethics in the 21st Century." About 40 members of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church attend for two hours each Monday evening, as part of the their Bible Center program. Center Director Dr. Dennis Sullivan will be teaching a course entitled “Current Issues in Bioethics” beginning in February 2009. This course is part of the Cedarville University Master of Education program. Future Initiatives:Cedarville University Center for Bioethics is working to develop a new Master of Arts program in Bioethics, along with a Graduate Certificate. These programs will equip students and graduates in healthcare, law, and Christian ministries to critically evaluate and engage the ethics challenges in our technology-dominated culture. We hope to launch these new programs in the summer of 2010. Please pray with us for funding to make these and other projects possible. |

Some of the topics include cloning, embryonic stem cell research, reproductive technologies, and eugenics. “Ethics and the Embryo” is scheduled for release next year. Keep watching our Web site for more updates!
