Announcing the Center for Bioethics at Cedarville University
In the midst of the strident culture wars about abortion, death and dying, stem cell research, cloning, and genetic engineering, there is a need for an objective academic voice - one guided by Christian theology, reason, and a passion for the sanctity of human life.
We are pleased to announce the Center for Bioethics at Cedarville University. We are committed to being that voice.
My name is Dr. Dennis Sullivan, Professor of Biology and Center Director. I have taught human biology and bioethics at Cedarville University for 10 years. Joining me are Center Associates Dr. John Silvius (senior professor of biology) and Dr. Susan Salladay (professor of nursing). Dr. Silvius is a specialist in environmental ethics, while Dr. Salladay focuses on clinical ethics.

Meet the Center for Bioethics Fellow
The Center's inaugural Fellow for academic year 2006-2007 is Aaron Costerisan, a third-year medical student at Loyola University, now on sabbatical. He is pursuing an M.A. in Bioethics from Trinity University, and studying under the mentorship of the Center.
Students for Life
On their own initiative, a group of Cedarville University students is forming a student oranization dedicated to preserving the sanctity of human life. The Center will provide input and support. Please pray for this new group!
