About The Center
Modern Americans are wrestling with a range of difficult legal, moral, and political issues. We are confronting war and praying for peace. We are a rich nation that still bears the blight of poverty. We are in turmoil over the beginning and end of life, and we have not yet decided on the moral and political limits of science and technology. As Christians, we have no choice but to take a stand in troubled times. Our faith must inform and guide us as we find our way through the complicated web of issues, parties, and policies that make up our politics. We, as Christians, need to be clear in our principles and active in our pursuit of them. We must learn how to engage our political culture with the heart and mind of Christ.
The Cedarville Roundtable
This discussion of important public issues and policies brings political, academic, and intellectual leaders to campus so that students, faculty, and the public might interact with them.
Student Research
Students connected to the Center for Political Studies, either through course credit or stipends, work closely with faculty members on research projects supporting conference presentations and publications.
Academic Lectures and Symposia
The Center sponsors and leads relevant lectures and symposia featuring academic scholars and political decision makers.
Washington, D.C. Semester
